Agility is “The gracefulness of a person or animal that is quick and nimble”. It also refers to collective coordinated abilities. Agility training not only aids athletic performance but also simple activities like playing catch, soccer or basketball with your kids or with friends. Being swift and agile minimizes incidences of injury. Balance and coordination are the main aspects focused upon with the Quest Fitness agility drills. We strive not just to build balance or the ability to maintain equilibrium when stationary or moving but also static balance (ability to retain the center of mass above the base of support in a non moving position) and dynamic balance (ability to balance with body movement, speed, strength and coordination).
